Description of Tool: Glogster EDU is used by millions of teachers and students around the world. It is a safe and private classroom. Glogster is a website that allows teachers to create and edit a template which students can view. There are various options to choose from; such as Blank, Flypaper, Handout, Assignment, and Random. When choosing one of these templates, the format is already laid out and teachers only need to edit the boxes and put the information that they wish to have on the template. Glogster.com explains the website to help you be original because you can create what you want to create from your ideas. It is a website that allows you to be creative by creating effects and animations on the templates. Glogster allows you to find YouTube videos and pictures from the Internet without ever having to leave Glogster. The coolest thing about this website is that you can publish the Glog you created to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Tumblr, allowing many people to see the Glog you created.


How does tool apply to your curricular area? We are both becoming educators and we will definitely be able to use this website! Glogster EDU is a website that is create and dynamic that will capture the students and keep them engaged. Glogster EDU will make lessons fun and exciting. Teachers are able to create assignments, lectures, homework's, worksheets, and various other class activites with these templates. The templates are fun and exciting which will keep the students entertained and engaged. Students also are able to use the Glogster site and put their own ideas down.


Where does tool fit in Digital Blooms and why? Creating because you are able to create your own document with your own ideas.


Extras: Glogster EDU is purely educational and it kicks out those who are not in education. This creates a safer site for students.
